1. Introduction:
Our Cutter Suction Dredger is a marvel of steel construction. This non-self-propelled, dismountable dredger is designed to expertly berth and dredge in various waters, including coastal areas and inland rivers. It meets the stringent conditions of navigation area 'A' or lower, as specified by the P.R. China Inland River Steel Engineering Ship Manufacturing Code.
Ideal for excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, our dredger complies with Class III standards per the Ministry of Water Resources' dredging engineering construction technique code.
Composed of three pontoons—a main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons—this versatile dredger can be easily transported via road, rail, or water. Featuring a rapid connection-disconnection system, which involves deck-level bolts, hull-front and rear bolts, and bottom hooks, the dredger ensures efficient assemblage. It is powered by a robust marine engine that drives both the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn power essential equipment such as the cutter, swing, ladder winches, and spud rams.
Crafted with an all-welded steel construction, the hull provides the necessary durability for demanding dredging tasks. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts, enhancing stability and strength.
The hull employs CCSB shipbuilding steel plates, known for their exceptional durability.
