1. Introduction:
Our Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. Designed to berth and dredge efficiently in both coastal and inland waters, it adheres to the stringent standards of navigation area 'A' or below, as specified by P.R. China's inland river steel engineering code.
Engineered to perfection, this dredger expertly excavates and transports cohesive sediments, holding firm to the class III specifications in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
The versatile hull comprises three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons, all meticulously dimensioned for seamless transportation via road, rail, or water. Featuring a rapid connection-disconnection system, the pontoons are secured with deck-level bolts, hull front and rear bolts, and bottom hooks. Powered by a robust Marine engine, the main engine drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, with the hydraulic pump energizing all equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Built with an all-welded, steel construction, the hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons attach to the main pontoon with sturdy bolts, ensuring a solid and reliable connection.
The hull steel plate is crafted from CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), ensuring superior durability and performance.
