The Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed from robust steel and designed in a non self-propelled, dismountable type, is capable of berthing and dredging in various waters, including coastal areas and inland rivers. This versatility aligns with the conditions specified in navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as per the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture in China.
This highly efficient dredger is perfect for excavating and transporting cohesive sediment classified below class III, adhering to the dredging engineering standards set by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of China.
The sturdy hull is composed of three pontoons: one main pontoon (serving as the engine room) and two side pontoons. Each part is meticulously designed for easy transport via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a quick-release system for the pontoons, secured by bolts at the deck, hull front, and rear, along with hooks at the bottom. It is powered by a marine engine, with the main engine driving the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. This hydraulic system efficiently powers various equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed entirely from welded steel, the hull offers the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon using high-strength bolts.
