The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction and a non self-propelled, dismountable design, is engineered to berth and dredge versatile waters, both coastal and inland. It meets the stringent conditions outlined for navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as per the inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code of P.R. China.
Ideal for excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, this dredger adheres to the class III specifications under the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
Comprising three pontoons—one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons—every component of the YS-CSD450 dredger is designed for easy transportation by road, rail, or water. The rapid connection-disconnection system ensures seamless assembly using bolts at the deck level and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a Marine engine, the main engine drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all other equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Constructed entirely of welded steel, the hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon with bolts, ensuring durability and effectiveness.
The steel plates used in the hull construction are made of CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), ensuring the highest quality and durability.
