The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction and featuring a non self-propelled, dismountable design, is adept for berthing and dredging across various waters, be it coastal zones or inland rivers. It complies with the stringent conditions akin to navigation area 'A' or those specified below the 'A'-line in the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture by the P.R. China.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment of class III and below, as stipulated in the code for dredging engineering construction technique by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
The meticulously constructed hull features three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Every component is designed for effortless transportation via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger boasts a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn, powers all other equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams, ensuring seamless operation.
With an all-welded, steel construction, the hull delivers the formidable strength required for rigorous dredging activities. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts, ensuring stability and durability.
