1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction and designed to be non self-propelled and dismountable, showcases unmatched versatility. It can efficiently berth and dredge in diverse waters, from coastal areas to inland rivers. This vessel adheres to the stringent standards equivalent to navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line, as specified by the Code for Inland River Steel Engineering Ship Manufacture of P. R. China.
Engineered to perfection, this dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, meeting the specifications below class III as defined by the Code for Dredging Engineering Construction Technique issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull is composed of three meticulously designed pontoons: one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. Every component is dimensioned for seamless transportation by road, rail, or water. This innovative vessel features a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, facilitated by bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. The dredger is powered by a robust Marine engine, with the main engine driving both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump, in turn, powers all essential equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Crafted from all-welded steel, the hull boasts the strength and durability necessary for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon using bolts for enhanced stability.
The hull steel plate utilized is the high-quality CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate).
