The Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed with robust steel and designed as a non-self-propelled, dismountable type, is engineered to berth and dredge efficiently in various water bodies. Whether in coastal zones or inland rivers, it performs admirably under conditions akin to navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line, adhering to the inland river steel engineering ship standards set forth by the P. R. China.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, tailored to meet the rigorous Class III standards outlined in the dredging engineering construction techniques by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull is ingeniously divided into three pontoons: a central main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is meticulously designed for seamless transportation via road, rail, or water. The cutting-edge, rapid connection-disconnection system involves bolts at deck level, along with front and rear hull connections, complemented by hooks at the bottom. Equipped with a powerful Marine engine, the main engine propels both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn energize the cutter, swing and ladder winches, spud rams, and additional equipment.
Crafted from high-quality welded steel, the hull provides the essential strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely fastened to the main pontoon with durable bolts.
The hull steel plate is manufactured using CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate) for superior durability.
