1.Introduction:
Introducing the Cutter Suction Dredger: a marvel of steel construction and dismountable design. This non self-propelled vessel is engineered to berth and dredge in diverse waters—from coastal areas to inland rivers—under the same conditions as navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line, as specified in the inland river steel engineering ship code of P. R. China.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment below class III, as outlined in the dredging engineering construction techniques issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
Its hull, comprising one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons, is designed for optimal transport via road, rail, or water. Featuring a rapid connection-disconnection system using bolts and hooks, the YS-CSD450 dredger ensures seamless assembly and disassembly. Powered by a robust Marine engine, the main engine drives both the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn energize all auxiliary equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed entirely from welded steel, the hull provides the necessary strength for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons attach securely to the main pontoon with bolts.
The steel plates used in the hull are of CCSB grade (shipbuilding steel plate).
