1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed with high-grade steel, is a versatile, non-self-propelled, dismountable unit. It is adept at berthing and dredging in various waters, including coastal areas and inland rivers, parallel to the conditions specified in navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line in China's inland river steel engineering ship standards.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to the class III specifications set by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China for dredging engineering construction techniques.
Featuring a robust hull with three pontoons—one main (engine room) and two side pontoons—the YS-CSD450 dredger is designed for easy transport via road, rail, or water. It boasts a rapid connection and disconnection system using bolts and hooks, enabling swift assembly. Powered by a Marine engine, the main engine operates the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all essential equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
The dredger's hull is constructed from welded steel, providing the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon with bolts.
The hull is crafted from high-quality CCSB shipbuilding steel plate.
