1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, built with robust steel construction, is a non self-propelled, dismountable type. It is engineered to berth and execute dredging operations in various waters, including coastal areas and inland rivers. It complies with the conditions of navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as specified in the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture by P. R. China.
This versatile dredger is adept at excavating and transporting cohesive sediments as classified under class III in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull of the dredger is comprised of three pontoons—one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Designed for seamless transport via road, rail, or water, the YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons using bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. The dredger is fortified with a Marine engine to power the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump, in turn, energizes all other equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Constructed entirely with welded steel, the hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
The steel plate used in the hull is CCSB, a high-grade shipbuilding steel plate.
