1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted from premium steel, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It can operate seamlessly in various waters, including coastal areas and inland rivers. It adheres to the stringent standards of navigation area 'A' or below as specified by the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P. R. China.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, adhering to class III specifications in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull comprises three robust pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. All components are precisely dimensioned for seamless transportation by road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger boasts a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, facilitated by bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. It is powered by a highly efficient Marine engine. This main engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all other equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Engineered with an all-welded steel construction, the hull provides the necessary strength for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull steel plate employed is the high-quality CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate).
