1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, boasting a robust steel construction, and a non self-propelled, dismountable type, is expertly designed to berth and dredge efficiently in various waters, including coastal areas and inland rivers. It meets the rigorous conditions set for navigation area 'A' or below, as per the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture by the P. R. China.
This top-notch dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, complying with class III specifications in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull is ingeniously designed with three pontoons: a main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. All components are precisely dimensioned to facilitate transportation via road, rail, or water. A rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons using bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom ensures seamless assembly. Powered by a Marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn power all other equipment, including cutter, swing, ladder winches, and spud rams.
Exuding strength and durability, the hull is constructed with all-welded steel, essential for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely bolted to the main pontoon.
