The Cutter Suction Dredger boasts a robust steel construction, designed as a non-self-propelled, dismountable vessel. This marvel can berth and dredge in various waters, including coastal areas and inland rivers, conforming to navigation area 'A' standards or below, as per the inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code of the P. R. China.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, meeting the standards in the class III category specified by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China's dredging engineering construction techniques.
Crafted with precision, the hull comprises three pontoons: one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. The YS-CSD450 dredger's design ensures it can be transported seamlessly via road, rail, or water. An innovative rapid connection-disconnection system, utilizing bolts and hooks at strategic points, enhances the structural integrity. The dredger is powered by a Marine engine, with the main engine facilitating the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump energizes all auxiliary equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
The hull's all-welded steel construction imparts the strength required for rigorous dredging operations, with the side pontoons meticulously bolted to the main pontoon for enhanced stability.
The hull's steel plate is crafted from CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), ensuring durability and resilience.
