The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted from durable steel and designed as a non-self-propelled, dismountable vessel, boasts versatility for berthing and dredging operations in diverse water bodies, encompassing coastal zones and inland rivers. Its hull structure consists of three pontoons: a central pontoon accommodating the engine room, complemented by two lateral pontoons. For enhanced portability and assembly, the dredger features a swift pontoon connection-disconnection mechanism, facilitated by bolts at deck level, at both the hull's front and rear, along with bottom hooks. Furthermore, it is powered by a robust marine engine, where the main engine serves dual purposes by driving both the dredge pump and the hydraulic system. The hydraulic pump, in turn, fuels additional equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams, ensuring comprehensive operational capability.
