1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed with robust steel and featuring a non-self-propelled, dismountable design, is engineered to operate efficiently in both coastal areas and inland rivers. It adheres to the stringent standards of the P. R. China’s code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture, applicable to navigation area 'A' and below.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, conforming to the class III specifications in the MWR's dredging engineering construction standards of P. R. China.
The hull comprises three meticulously designed pontoons: the main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is crafted for seamless transportation by road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 features an innovative rapid connection-disconnection system using bolts and hooks, ensuring ease of assembly. Powered by a Marine engine, the main engine drives both the dredge pump and the hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all essential equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Built with welded steel construction, the hull provides the necessary strength for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
High-quality CCSB shipbuilding steel plates are used for the hull, ensuring durability and reliability.
