1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted from durable steel and designed for disassembly, can berth and dredge in virtually any water body, whether coastal areas or inland rivers. It meets the rigorous standards for navigation in area 'A' or below 'A'-line as defined by the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture in China.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment up to class III, according to the dredging engineering construction techniques issued by the Ministry of Water Resources of China.
The hull is comprised of three pontoons: a central main pontoon (engine room) flanked by two side pontoons. The YS-CSD450 dredger is designed for easy transportation via road, rail, or water, equipped with a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons using bolts at multiple levels and hooks at the bottom. The dredger is powered by a Marine engine, with the main engine driving both the dredge and hydraulic pumps. The hydraulic pump powers all additional equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed from welded steel, the hull of this dredger provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon via bolts.
The hull steel plate used is CCSB, a high-grade shipbuilding steel plate.
