1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It is adept at berthing and dredging in various waters, from coastal areas to inland rivers, mirroring conditions of navigation area 'A' or below, as per the inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code of P. R. China.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, adhering to Class III standards of the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull is ingeniously designed, comprising three pontoon components: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Every part is meticulously dimensioned to ensure the YS-CSD450 dredger can be transported seamlessly by road, rail, or water. It boasts a quick connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn, power all other equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams, ensuring efficient operations.
Constructed with fully welded steel, the hull imbues the dredger with the strength essential for rigorous dredging tasks. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon with bolts, enhancing structural integrity.
The hull's steel plates are crafted from high-quality CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), promising durability and reliability.
