The Cutter Suction Dredger is an engineering marvel of steel construction. This non-self-propelled, dismountable vessel is designed to berth and operate in any waters, from coastal areas to inland rivers. It meets the rigorous standards of China's inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code for navigation areas classified as 'A' or below.
Our versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to the class III specifications laid out by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of China for dredging engineering construction techniques.
The hull features a robust design with three pontoons: one main pontoon housing the engine room, and two side pontoons. The YS-CSD450 dredger is fully transportable by road, rail, or water, thanks to its carefully dimensioned parts. It boasts a rapid connection-disconnection system for efficiency, using bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a Marine engine, the dredger’s main engine drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all auxiliary equipment like the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Constructed entirely from welded steel, the hull provides the dredger with the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull steel plate is made from CCSB-grade shipbuilding steel, ensuring durability and performance.
