1. Introduction:
Crafted with robust steel construction, our Medium Duty Cutter Suction Dredger is a non-self-propelled, dismountable type, designed to operate efficiently in both coastal waters and inland rivers. It adheres to navigation area 'A' specifications or those below the 'A'-line, as per the inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code of P. R. China.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, meeting the Class III standards outlined in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull features a three-pontoon design comprising a main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. All components are meticulously dimensioned for ease of transport by road, rail, or water. The dredger is enhanced with a swift connection-disconnection system via bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. It is powered by a marine engine, where the main engine drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Constructed entirely from welded steel, the hull offers the necessary strength to endure demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull utilizes CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate) for superior durability.
