1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed with durable steel and designed for disassembly, is a non self-propelled marvel. It is adept at berthing and dredging in various waters, whether along coastal areas or inland rivers. This versatile dredger is compliant with the navigation area "A" standards or falls below the "A"-line as specified in the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of the P. R. China.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, adhering to the class III standards set forth in the dredging engineering construction techniques by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
With a robust hull comprising three pontoons-one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons-this dredger is crafted for easy transport by road, rail, or water. Its rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, using bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and bottom hooks, enhances its operational efficiency. Powered by a Marine engine, the main engine drives both the dredge pump and the hydraulic pump, which in turn powers auxiliary equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
The hull is meticulously crafted from welded steel to ensure the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon with bolts, guaranteeing structural integrity.
The hull steel plate utilized is CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), ensuring top-notch durability and performance.
