1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, masterfully engineered from high-grade steel, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It is designed to effortlessly berth and dredge in various waters, be it coastal or inland rivers, conforming to the stringent specifications for navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as per the Code for Inland River Steel Engineering Manufacture of P.R. China.
This versatile dredger is proficient in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment below class III, as detailed in the Dredging Engineering Construction Techniques Code by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
The innovative hull comprises three pontoons: one central main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is meticulously crafted to facilitate seamless transport via road, rail, or water. Featuring a rapid connection-disconnection system, the pontoons are securely attached using bolts at the deck level, hull front, and rear, with bottom hooks for added stability. The dredger boasts a powerful marine engine to drive the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers the cutter, swing and ladder winches, spud rams, and other essential equipment.
Constructed from welded steel, the hull offers unparalleled strength and durability for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are firmly connected to the main pontoon using robust bolts.
The steel plates used for the hull are made from CCSB, a premium shipbuilding steel.
