1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger of steel construction, non-self-propelled and dismountable, is engineered for versatility. It can berth and dredge in any waters, whether in coastal areas or inland rivers, adhering to the conditions specified in navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line according to the inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code of P. R. China.
Designed to excavate and transport cohesive sediment below class III as per the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China, this dredger stands out in efficiency and reliability.
The hull comprises three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each part is dimensioned for easy transport via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons using bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. The dredger is powered by a Marine engine, with the main engine driving both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump powers all other equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
The hull's all-welded steel construction ensures the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
High-quality CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate) is used for the hull steel plate, ensuring durability and reliability.
