The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction, is a non-self-propelled, dismountable marvel designed for versatile dredging operations. It can efficiently berth and dredge in various waters, whether along the coast or within inland rivers, adhering to the navigational standards of area 'A' or below, as specified in the inland river steel engineering ship code by the P. R. China.
This state-of-the-art dredger is engineered to excavate and transport cohesive sediments, complying with class III specifications outlined in the dredging engineering construction technique code by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull is ingeniously designed with three pontoons: one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is dimensioned for seamless transportation by road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a quick and efficient connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and bottom hooks. A Marine engine powers the dredger, driving the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all other equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Constructed entirely with welded steel, this durable hull provides the necessary strength for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely affixed to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull's steel plate is made of CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), ensuring durability and reliability.
