The Cutter Suction Dredger, masterfully crafted from durable steel, is a non self-propelled, dismountable vessel designed to excel in both coastal and inland waterways. It operates efficiently in navigation area 'A' or below, as specified by the code for inland steel engineering ship manufacture in P.R. China.
Engineered to handle cohesive sediments, the dredger adheres to Class III standards of dredging engineering construction techniques as outlined by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
The hull comprises three meticulously designed pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is meticulously dimensioned for seamless transportation via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system for its pontoons, utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. This cutting-edge vessel is powered by a robust Marine engine that drives both the dredge and hydraulic pumps, enabling operation of all essential equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
