1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted from robust steel, is a non self-propelled, modular marvel, designed for seamless operation in diverse aquatic environments, from coastal areas to inland rivers. It complies with the stringent 'A' or below 'A'-line specifications outlined in the P. R. China's inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code.
Engineered for excellence, this dredger specializes in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to Class III standards set by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
Boasting a tri-pontoon construction, including a main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons, this dredger is designed for easy transportation via road, rail, or water. It features a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons using bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and bottom hooks. The dredger is powered by a robust Marine engine, which drives both the dredge and hydraulic pumps. Consequently, this system powers all auxiliary equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Crafted with an all-welded steel construction, the hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely bolted to the main pontoon, ensuring structural integrity.
The hull's steel plates are made from CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), ensuring durability and compliance with maritime standards.
