1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, featuring robust steel construction, is a non-self-propelled, dismountable vessel. It is proficiently designed to berth and dredge in both coastal areas and inland rivers, adhering to conditions akin to those in navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as defined by the P. R. China's code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, as specified under class III in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull is comprised of three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each part is meticulously designed to facilitate transportation by road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Notably, the dredger is driven by a powerful marine engine, with the main engine powering the dredge and hydraulic pumps. The hydraulic pump efficiently powers all other equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Crafted with all-welded steel construction, the hull delivers the requisite strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using robust bolts.
CCSB shipbuilding steel plates are utilized for the hull, ensuring exceptional durability.
