1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted from robust steel construction, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It is engineered to berth and dredge in diverse waters, encompassing coastal areas and inland rivers. This versatile dredger is compliant with conditions akin to navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as per the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P. R. China.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, adhering to Class III standards specified in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull comprises three distinct pontoons: one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is meticulously dimensioned to facilitate easy transportation of the YS-CSD450 dredger via road, rail, or water. The dredger boasts a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. The dredger is powered by a robust Marine engine, with the main engine driving both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump, in turn, powers all auxiliary equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Constructed with all-welded steel, the hull of the dredger ensures the necessary strength for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull incorporates high-quality CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), ensuring durability and reliability.
