Our Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction, is a marvel of engineering. This non self-propelled, dismountable dredger is designed to berth and efficiently dredge in various waters, be it in coastal areas or inland rivers. It meets the stringent requirements of navigation area 'A' or below, as outlined in the Chinese code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture.
This versatile dredger is adept at excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to Class III specifications set forth by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China for dredging engineering construction techniques.
The hull is comprised of three pontoons: one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons, each meticulously dimensioned for transportation by road, rail, or water. A swift connection-disconnection system, using bolts at deck level and hooks at the bottom, ensures quick assembly and disassembly. Powered by a robust marine engine, the main engine propels the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers essential equipment such as the cutter, swing, ladder winches, and spud rams.
Engineered for durability, the hull boasts all-welded steel construction, providing the necessary strength for intense dredging activities. The side pontoons are securely bolted to the main pontoon, ensuring structural integrity.
We use CCSB shipbuilding steel plate for the hull, guaranteeing superior quality and resilience.
