1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, masterfully crafted from high-strength steel, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It is designed to berth and dredge seamlessly in diverse waters, whether within coastal zones or inland rivers. This vessel meets the stringent conditions of navigation area 'A' or areas below the 'A'-line as specified by the Code for Inland River Steel Engineering Ship Manufacture of the People's Republic of China.
This state-of-the-art dredger is engineered to excavate and transport cohesive sediments, adhering to the Class III standards specified in the Code for Dredging Engineering Construction Technique by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of the People's Republic of China.
The hull is an ingenious assembly of three pontoons: one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is precisely dimensioned for effortless transportation via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a robust Marine engine, the dredger’s main engine seamlessly drives both the dredge pump and the hydraulic pump, which in turn energizes all essential equipment including the cutter, swing, ladder winches, and spud rams.
The hull is constructed from high-quality, welded steel, granting the dredger exceptional strength required for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon via bolts.
The hull steel plate used is the superior CCSB shipbuilding steel plate.
